Built On The National Labor Relations Act Of 1935.

American labor law assumes industrial employment, large bargaining units, and adversarial collective negotiation as the default condition. The economy it governs is now dominated by small firms, distributed teams, contract relationships, and platform intermediation — none of which the NLRA contemplated and most of which sit in legal gray zones the courts have been left to manage one case at a time. The proposals here update the framework without dismantling the protections that still serve traditional employment.
